Functions in the basic package

Vehicle positioning and area monitoring

You can locate your vehicles with one click. The "Live Monitor" shows the positions of all vehicles in your fleet and the current status ("Online and driving", "Online and standing still", "Offline"). By positioning the mouse cursor on a vehicle symbol, additional data for this vehicle is displayed: e.g. vehicle name, time stamp of the position, status, number of orders dispatched for this vehicle, number of new messages from this vehicle. Alternatively, this information can also be displayed in tabular form for the entire fleet. In addition, you can start so-called area monitoring and will then be informed when a certain vehicle enters or leaves an area indicated by you. Up to 50 area monitorings are possible for each vehicle. Naturally, you can also analyse the driven tours for a selected period of time on the map for the vehicles.
 

Simple communication and order management

In easyfleet, free text messages to the vehicles can be formulated and sent. A request for acknowledgement with a freely definable acknowledgement deadline can thereby be selected. easyfleet then informs, if desired, of expired acknowledgement deadlines. Send current assignment orders or other messages to your driver with GSM/GPRS to the display in the vehicle. Your driver acknowledges and transmits additional replies promptly. The sent messages are filed in a clear manner in an "Outbox" folder, just as all incoming messages are filed in an "Inbox". Both post trays can be sorted according to criteria such as sender, date, etc. There is a comfortable search function for searching for individual messages. The easyfleet user can create new orders for a vehicle in an appropriate order template, insofar as these are not taken from an upstream system using the supplementary package "Connect". The new orders, or those already dispatched to a vehicle, will be shown together with their current status in clear tables. A comfortable search function is available for searching for specific orders. Completed orders can be moved by the dispatcher to an "archive".
 

Gapless driver’s logbooks and evaluations of vehicle usage

From the terminal equipment in the vehicle, which is compatible with easyfleet, you automatically receive all basic information necessary for keeping a driver's logbook. This data can be displayed in a clear tabular form in the portal. Only the reason for business-related trips trip need be entered in the portal. The driver's logbook records can then be printed out. You thus receive gapless and non-manipulable driver's logbooks that are also recognised by the tax office. You also receive valuable evaluations of the usage of your vehicles.

Functions in the vehicle technology supplementary package

Evaluation of CAN bus data

In the event that your truck is equipped with a CAN bus interface according to the so-called FMS standard, easyfleet offers you the listing evaluation of the technical data of the vehicle at this interface (km status, fuel consumption, rotational speeds, etc.). Particularly the compilation in the form of "trip reports" provides valuable information on the usage of the vehicle. These reports can be displayed in a clear form in the portal or printed out for your documents.

Functions in the logistics supplementary package

Professional order management, dispatching and connection to business solutions, tour planning and shipping software

In the "Logistics" supplementary package the easyfleet order management is expanded by the professional "tour stop-based" concept. Logistical transport processes are thereby divided into the hierarchy levels "Shipment" / "Order" / "Tour" and processed appropriately by the driver during transport.
A bar representation of planned tours serves the purpose of interactive planning and/or monitoring of dispatched tours and orders.

In order to realise a closed information chain in the supply chain or in field service management, the "Logistics" supplementary package provides the interfaces to the upstream or downstream systems.

Currently available connections exist for the solutions from BNS (OnRoad), CIS (C-Logistic), LIS (WinSped), Soloplan (CarLo), Dr. Städtler (Trampas) and SAP (mySAP ERP). On the basis of the freely available OTI definition ("Open Telematics Interface"; see "Downloads"), other interested providers of business solutions or shipping software can connect to easyfleet with their products.

Functions in the logistics ID supplementary package

Barcode identification and documentation of transport

The "Logistics ID" supplementary package includes all functions of the "Logistics" package plus the possibility of recording shipment items per barcode and signatures when loading or unloading. A scanner is necessary for the vehicle.
If entire loading lists are transferred to easyfleet from the source system using the "Connect" package, the scanner can be used when loading to check whether the respective shipments really belong to this load.
The signatures of the shipment recipients recorded on location are archived in easyfleet and can be printed out as needed.

Navigation function

Order-related destination guidance

As an option, the easyfleet terminal device FB 6000 can be delivered with integrated navigation software. This navigation function is based on Navteq maps and enables route planning and destination guidance with so-called "turn-by-turn" instructions (Graphic and verbal).
Destinations can be entered manually or taken directly from the destination addresses of the transport or service orders transmitted from the easyfleet portal to the terminal equipment.

Tachograph data

Display of digital tachograph data

When a digital tachograph is present in the vehicle and is connected to the telematics on-board computer, the information concerning currently registered drivers, working status (time behind the wheel, breaks, etc.), km status and speed are displayed in easyfleet together with the vehicle information, or are listed in a separate report.

Data communication

For data communication between the vehicle terminal equipment and the easyfleet portal you require a mobile phone contract from your telecommunications provider
(T-Mobile, Vodafone, E plus or O2), for which monthly costs result depending upon the selected rate.
